Krista founded KFB Public Affairs in 2012 after working in the telecommunications industry. As the head of public affairs for a publicly traded company, she developed and executed government affairs plans, coordinated community outreach and created invaluable relationships, skills which are used to run the firm’s day-to-day operations.

A veteran of the United States Navy, Krista earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Sacramento State and completed the Masters in Governance program through the California School Board Association. Working at the federal and local levels of government, Krista’s wide range of experience offers clients an expansive breadth of public affairs experience. Krista subscribes to the motto that it’s not just “who you know” but also “what you know.” Through KFB Public Affairs, clients gain access to the region’s most infuential decision makers.

Krista’s involvement in the community has been extensive and has deepened her understanding of public and private partnerships. She serves as a board member on the Roseville Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee and Lighthouse Family Resource Center. Elected to the Roseville City School Board in 2002, Krista served eight years as a school board member and continues her service today as a planning commissioner for the City of Roseville. Her work led to being named as Sacramento region’s “40 Under 40,” and she is a recipient of the Athena Award and Sacramento State’s Distinguished Service award, both presented for demonstrating professional excellence, community service and leadership skills. She is a founding board member of IGNITE Young Professionals in Roseville and the Roseville City School District Foundation.
